Microsoft Lync
Thinking of using Microsoft Lync as your business telephone system?
As an accredited Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) partner, Atia Communications
have extensive experience in deploying Microsoft Lync for voice, video
and conference communications.
Microsoft Lync is the next generation of enterprise level business communications systems and provides the necessary infrastructure for both internal and external voice and video calling, conference calling, instant messaging and many other methods of business communications.
Minimal interference, minimal fuss
Microsoft Lync is an IP based communications system, meaning in most cases it will fit seamlessly into an organisations existing IT infrastructure with no fuss. Being software based, the system itself is installed on your central servers and communications are run over your existing Cat5 cable network. External communications are handled by mission-critical ADSL or SIP services provided by Atia Communications or your existing provider.
Microsoft Lync applications
Microsoft Lync is an incredibly universal communications platform. Atia Communications utilise Microsoft Lync for the following applications:
Telephone systems
Microsoft Lync is perfectly positioned to be your next, and final telephone system.
Microsoft Lync enables you to make free internal calls and cheaper external calls using your organisations pre-existing network.
Mobility is no longer an issue thanks to built-in routing to mobile devices, giving users communications when they are away from the office.
Conference calling
The new Microsoft Lync Server delivers easy to use, reliable & integrated audio, video, and Web conferencing to allow your staff to carry out both internal and external conference calls.
Microsoft also supplies an additional unique 360 degree camera which automatically focuses in on the person speaking.
Receptions & call centres
With the range of built-in features Microsoft Lync is ideally suited to reception and call-centre functions. Even the largest call-centres are already using Microsoft Lync due to its inherent growth capabilities limited only to the hardware running the system.
Other communication
Built-in live chat, group chat and instant messaging features are a great way for employees and clients to stay in contact throughout the day where the more formal conference calling features are not necessary.
Your clients do not need Microsoft Lync to interact with your staff, instead they can use their preferred method of communication such as Microsoft Windows Live Messenger, AOL, and Yahoo!
Great for multi-site businesses
However large or complex your organisations structure, Microsoft Lync can seamlessly act as your core communications
system. Multi-site businesses that have satellite, regional or global offices can be linked using the central software and your
mission-critical ADSL or SIP services with ease.
