SwyxIt!
SwyxIt!, Swyxware’s PC-based softphone is included in both SwyxWare Compact and SwyxWare Essential.
SwyxIt! offers many functions that perfectly integrate the phone with the PC world, providing critical telephony functions through a customizable graphical interface such as:

- Call forwarding
- Call transfer & hold
- Conference calling
- Phone book
Customise your SwyxIt!
Each user can tailor the appearance of their SwyxIt! client to reflect their personal preferences – receptionists or ‘power users’ can choose a template that shows many speed dial options while users who are frequently taking calls rather than making them choose a more compact template/skin.
You can customize ring tones by selecting different sounds from any WAV file, or even play your favourite MP3 tune for different callers!
SwyxIt! hardware
To support the SwyxIt! application Swyx have produced two pieces of hardware to work directly with SwyxIt!
SwyxIt! Headsets
The headset is an ideal solution for a receptionists or “power user”. Consisting of a headphone and a microphone, it enables the user to make calls and work with the PC at the same time.
The headsets are USB compatible, and can be easily used from anywhere in the office. In addition, their size and lightness means they are an ideal solution for mobile workers who are often out on the road.
SwyxIt! Handsets
Making calls with the SwyxIt! P250 handset is easy and convenient. By connecting to the USB port of a PC or laptop, full on/off hook support is provided and users can take advantage of the PC/laptop keyboard to enter telephone numbers.
Critical telephony functions such as call transfer, hold, forward and conference can be easily chosen through SwyxIt! Softphone user interface so migration from a conventional phone to the USB handset is easy and comfortable.
